Merry Christmas

As you read this article we are now in the week before Christmas. As an adult I ask “how did it get here so fast” but as a child I would ask “when will Christmas ever get here?!” As with almost everything, the way we view things differs depending on our perspective. Many have great jobs, happy marriages or other good fortune and look at Christmas as a joyous and fun time. Others have serious or even not-so-serious troubles and let these drag them down, so that not just they but those around them are unhappy. If you have good fortune this Christmas, I hope you will share that joy with others through the giving of your time or money to community efforts to help the less fortunate. If you are troubled, please put those troubles aside in honor of this wonderful holiday season and be determined to face that problem head-on after Christmas. In closing, I hope you will remember the real meaning of Christmas as the celebration of Christ’s birth and give to others in the spirit that He gave to us. If you are not of the Christian faith, I hope you will experience Christmas this year as a time of peace and tranquility. For all my readers, I hope you will share a wonderful time of joy and harmony with your family and friends this season and then let me or another professional help you with your IRS problem or help you draft your Estate Plan in the New Year. Have a wonderful Holiday Season.
