Affordable Care Act Information

Small companies, individuals and other types of organizations are confused and worried about the tax consequences of this act. The IRS has opened a new web site at IRS.gov/aca to help explain many provisions of the Act. There’s a different section for each of the three groups named above that explains the tax advantages and responsibilities for each group. Topics include premium tax credits for individuals, new benefits and responsibilities for employers, and tax provisions for insurers, tax-exempt organizations and certain other business types.
