What does Thanksgiving mean?  It means different things to different people.  To kindergarten and grade school kids it means Pilgrims and Indians getting together for a feast.  To ladies (and many men) it means getting up in the middle of the night to shop on Black Friday.  To men (and many ladies) it means “pigging out” and watching football on TV. However, I suggest that Thanksgiving should mean spending time with family and friends to reflect on what each of us has to be thankful for: this great country of ours, our freedom to live and worship as we choose, our family, our home, the physical comforts we have (some have many, some have few), and all those who sacrifice their time, efforts and even their lives so we can live in peace.  As for me, first, I’m thankful for my Lord and Savior who watches over me daily.  Second, I’m thankful for my wife and daughter, who pick me up when I’m down and provide the love and comfort that I cherish.  Third, I’m thankful for my health that allows me to come to work each day and also enjoy many outdoor activities. Between the turkey, the football, and the shopping, I hope you will take some time to really be thankful for all you have.  Finally, I want to say that I am also truly thankful for all my clients and I make every effort to represent them in a manner so that they are thankful for my efforts on their behalf.  Happy Thanksgiving to all.
