HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Many may see the above title and think, “What do I have to be happy about this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.” There is no question this plague has affected all of our lives. However, my staff and I still want to take this opportunity to wish that each of you enjoy this Thanksgiving season, even in light of all our fears and heartaches and I want to thank you for being my clients, my readers and my friends. This has been a rough year and, although some indicators signal that we are pulling out of this pandemic, most people feel that we still have a long way to go to return to some semblance of normalcy. I know that many are feeling that there is still not much to be thankful for at this particular time, but we can all be thankful for something! We need to balance the bad things with the good, whether it is good health, good friends, close family, or the fact that we do not live in a country torn by war and extreme poverty. Thanksgiving is an excellent time to do this. If you have lost a close friend or family member to the Coronavirus, my heart goes out to you. That friend or family member cannot be replaced, but he or she will still live in your heart and that can bring comfort to you. I hope you will embrace this special week of Thanksgiving and determine in your heart that you will find something to be thankful for, for the sake of yourself, your family and your friends.
