What does Thanksgiving mean to you? Is it the turkey and dressing, Black Friday, football games or simply getting together with family and friends? It is a combination of all those things for all of us, but, most importantly, it should be a time of reflection and recognition of all the things we should truly be thankful for. On Thanksgiving, I pause to say a special prayer of thanks for my Lord and Saviour, for my wife and daughter, for my true friends (and I am very blessed to have several), for my staff who keeps me on track so I can help my clients and for all my clients, for they do provide my livelihood, but also provide me with a deep sense of gratification when I successfully conclude their cases and see the joy on their faces. Everyone of us has something to be thankful for, such as being thankful for the great country in which we live, for even with its problems, it is the greatest country in the world. Yes, we pay taxes, but they are lower than taxes in most other countries and they are the price we pay for our freedom, our protection and our standard of living. So I hope you will take a moment today to reflect on your blessings and thank others for what they do for you. Thank you and HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
